Fascinated by the arts, music, journeys, life simply, Alain Le Bihan has always granted a particular importance for painting and photography. He indeed has an "eye" which detects immediately the interesting construction, the unusual detail, the essential, as well in the photos as in the paintings.
This particular glance which often seizes what the others do not see, allows him to assert a form of provocation, sometimes protest or simply a moment of sensualism.
Winner of the Competition of Contemporary Art, Photography 2005 of the Workshop Z, Christiane Peugeot Cultural Centre, Alain Le Bihan has participated in several exhibitions of photos these last few years and has several in preparation.

Passionné par l’art, la musique, les voyages, la vie tout simplement, Alain Le Bihan a toujours accordé une importance particulière à la peinture et à la photographie. Son « œil » détecte l’essentiel, la construction intéressante, le détail insolite. Ce regard particulier qui souvent saisit ce que d’autres ne voient pas, lui permet d’affirmer une forme de provocation, voire quelquefois de protestation ou tout simplement un instant de sensualité. Son point de vue est le fruit d’une grande expérience et d’un long travail personnel et artistique dont l’image est la trace finale.

Photography of today, a completely new art
The appeal of today’s technologies – in other words, digital technology - is an exceptional means now at the disposal of photographers, not only allowing them to express what they see or believe to see, but also, and above all, what they want others to perceive.
Beyond the emotions and concepts that intermingle and preside in the passing towards action, new tools now allow the photographer to directly work on the image and to produce prints by himself. Beyond snapping the shot, the photographer can also pursue his creative work, as if he was at the origin of the picture.
Liberated by new technologies, photography has become a completely new form of art.

La photographie d’aujourd’hui, un art à part entière
Le recours aux technologies de notre temps - c’est-à-dire aux technologies numériques, se révèle un moyen exceptionnel mis à la disposition des photographes pour dire ce qu’ils voient ou ce qu’ils ont cru voir, mais aussi et surtout ce qu’ils voudraient donner à percevoir.
Au-delà de l’émotion et des concepts qui s’entremêlent et président au passage à l’acte, les nouveaux outils permettent désormais au photographe d’intervenir directement sur l’image et de réaliser lui-même ses tirages. Au-delà de la prise de vue, il peut poursuivre ainsi son travail créatif, comme il en était aux origines de la photographie.
Ainsi libérée par les nouvelles technologies, la photographie est désormais un art à part entière.
